SonArte was founded in 2006 by percussionist and composer Michel Drapeau and was joined by guitarist and composer Michel Basque in 2008. SonArte has an innovative approach, using digital technology to create virtual instruments from natural sound sources, bringing new sound colours and textures for composers and sound designers.
